HTC 10 GPS Issues?

So I recently bought an HTC 10 (unlocked version) and I've been loving it so far...except for the GPS. Sometimes in Google Maps, after starting it up, the app is still searching for GPS. Also, while playing Pokémon GO, my character sporadically jumps around. Is this a hardware defect in the phone or is there something I can do to fix it? For what it's worth, I'm just on the stock ROM with bootloader locked, s on, etc.

I haven't experienced any problems with my gps but other ppl on here have mentioned their GPS going crazy....

Check the HTC issue with Waze thread... Some ppl made some suggestions on possible fixes

While using Waze on my first phone, the GPS showed me driving next to the road I was on. Every exit on the freeway rerouted me down side streets to get back on the freeway. It was so bad I returned the phone for a replacement
