AC Question

I update my apps once a week and reboot directly after. Since the last three app updates, I have difficulties connecting easily to my vehicle. I now have to go to the Blue Tooth app, force stop and clear the cache. Then sometimes it works still. The next issue is that the messages that I have read show as unread and highlighted. The only way for me to get rid of that is to delete the actual conversation. Which I hate to do when there is data I need from that message. FYI I use the MMS too and Messenger tool together.
My last system update was in Dec 2016 and that update is 1.85.605.9. My Andriod version is 6.0.1

Help please :)

Are you on Verizon? We verizoners are all having the same issue with bluetooth on earpieces, etc too. The only current way to make it work is to clear the data everytime you want to connect. For the messages, the HTC message app has been failing. Verizon said to use their Message+ and when I did all the missing messages downloaded and its been mostly ok since then. No missed messages I know of. If not on Verizon try a different msg app.

This problem seemed to come up for me when the Google Assistant update hit my phone...

Try this.. It worked for me and my bluetooth works normally.

Go to the phone settings app>search for "Bluetooth scanning" and turn it OFF.

Turn on Bluetooth, go into your devices settings, and check if you can Toggle the "phone audio" profile.

Hopefully this works for you.
