Good morning all

I have an issue occurred with my HTC10 when paired up to my car Bluetooth – Mercedes comand. It syncs/pairs up fine, but when I place a call there is no sound to whomever I am calling or someone calling me.they can hear me, but I have no sound as all. I can use and listen to my phone with audible, music, etc. no problem but it seems only when I place a call.

I have done the norm, cleared Bluetooth cache, soft reset, factory reset, run in safe mode, still no difference. I have sent the phone back to HTC, they can’t find anything wrong. I have tried other android phones and iPhones, they sync and perform as you would expect with no problem!

I can only imagine it’s a setting or box to be ticked, but I have been through everything I have knowledge of, so I need some advice please..…

Like you said, double check to make sure all the boxes are checked.

Under the Bluetooth settings and "paired devices" select your cars profile and make sure "phone audio" is checked.

Try turning off Bluetooth scanning as well. You can find this setting by going into your phones settings and searching for "Bluetooth scanning" Turn that off and see if it works properly.

You mentioned you tried other phones and they work normally. Have you taken your HTC10 and tried connecting to a different vehicle?

And remember, Bluetooth connects your phone to your car radio by "profiles" - usually one for media and one for phone. If your phone's phone profile doesn't match the radio's phone profile, they won't work nicely together.

And that's something your Mercedes dealer's service department will have to address - to see if they have any updates for the radio.
