HTC 10 T-Mobile Network Issues

I just got my HTC 10 yesterday, but it can't connect to the T-Mobile network for more than about 5 seconds. If you flip on airplane mode then off again, you see it connect to T-Mobile's network then immediately disconnect.

Took it to the T-Mobile store and they verified it wasn't a SIM problem and that the phone is likely to blame so I have to take it up with HTC. Anyone else seeing and/or resolved this?
 
Can you not just swap it out first before going through HTC? I have the Verizon model and even it works fine on T-Mobile, you got a dud.
 
I just got a factory unlocked and my T Mobile connection sucks - 2 bars at best!!
I still have my G4 and it's 4 bars strong sitting side by side.
Tell me it's not the phone.

Samsung and lg on tmobile exaggerates compare it with an iphone

I would actually just compare the -dBm signal on ALL phones (iPhone or not) since that will always tell the true signal strength.
