htc and battery life

I have done my research on tips for the battery life once i get the chance to get my thunderbolt. Things like brightness, backlight, gps, wifi, 4g, etc. My question is if that popular htc flip clock widget does anything significant to drain battery? I know other widgets that pull info like facebook or other online sources would-just wasn't sure about this guy.

its a basic clock. i doubt you will gain or lose extra battery time......

i mean, im sure its pulling data but i doubt you will see signifigant differ in battery time. but things like friendstream an other social network with pictures or tons of data in an out...yea obvious

naw, im a nobody. i dont even own an android phone, im on iphone 3g. waitin for the tbolt since nov lol. but its all about how often your widgets pull for data. some im sure can bet set to how often.

i no basics on android. rooting an roms is my weak spot. tho i had a test run at my wifes nook color

hell man least you have an iphone to get by on-im with a blackberry! God help me! Least it sounds like you tinker around with devices somewhat-i am just a regular android fan with little no how and too much fear to try and play tech wiz lol! Props to those who can!

well, im prolly on same level as the crapberry. my battery seems to be messed up as it drains super fast now. after the jailbroken stuff bricked the phone randomly after a year. i decided to go back to the newest version. an it still just turns off randomly. so i rarely use it.
