When i check off automatic update for the weather and go back to the settings, it seems to uncheck itself. Anyone knpw why or have a fix for this?

It seems as though I'm having the same problem as the op. Does anybody have an idea what the problem may be or how to resolve it?

Eta: my location set as "use wireless networks". Not sure if that make a difference or not.

Mine stays checked in the HTS Widget and in the Weather Channel Widget. Is it getting unchecked to update or is it just updating infrequently?

It doesn't seem to update at all unless I manually refresh the weather.

In Menu> Settings> Accounts & Sync, do you have both of the top boxes checked? In Menu> Settings> Location, do you have Everything checked and in Location setting, do you have location "on" checked?

I do now. I will have to wait and see if that worked. Do I have to keep the gps option selected for location? I thought that drains the battery faster?
