HTC connector

I really don't want this to sound like a complaint but there's not a good way to do that so here goes....
In all the reviews I read about the Rezound(which I really like) I never once read that it's not a standard micro USB connector. So I assumed that it was, going back I see a ton of letters that still mean nothing to me after micro USB, but that's kinda beside the point. If this is a standard HTC connector then I get why not too many people would point it out, but having never owned an HTC phone and having a ton of micro USB adapters/USB cables at home I figured I was set. Now I have to buy tons of new accessory cables just for this device. Maybe someone could update the review thread to include this small but still very important piece of info.

Thats not true. It uses the standard micro USB. I would only use the charging cable that came with the phone to charge it up at night. ALL other micro USB we will work. I have 4 cables probably from 4 different phones that work with the phone. No worries.

I tried using a standard cable and it wouldn't go. Guess I'm headed back to Verizon then.

regular micro USB cable works just fine in the MHL port in both my Rezound and Flyer

Yeah something was wrong with mine. Just returned it and got a new Rezound and all is right with the world. Now if only we could drop this bloat....

Once we've got s-off root, we'll be able to do that. Until then I recommend using a different launcher and hide the apps you don't care to see.

Yeah I have my Droid X's charger in the living room and used it the first couple days to charge while i was making my Rezound all pretty and downloading apps LOL Worked fine.
