What it means is that the more votes/requests they receive, the sooner they will put this into production for the HTC EVO 4G.

I want this!

Ok, I know I'm only on my first quad expresso, but seriously, where do I cast my vote on CM's website? I swear I'm not a moron, I only play one on TV....

EDIT: So I AM a moron...lol Got it and only 7 votes left!!! Hoping that means they will at least consider making one ? Needs another quad expresso or just hook up the I.V.

The iPhone needs this as you cannot change out the battery. That is one thing I don't like about Apple, they never want to you change your battery out.

We can change ours so why not just carry an extra battery or 3? i:Di

Actually since I made those tweaks I have not had to change out my battery.. i:Di

I'd rather just keep an extra battery in my car like I did with my Pre, but I voted 3x to help out those that want this case.

I could carry an extra battery, but the less i have to carry and worry about the better. That's just my own personal opinion and preference.

Besides I want a case on my EVO at all times to protect the camera, so figured why not have a case with a backup battery built in!

Thanks for everyone that has voted!

I just think the extra bulk it adds would be a bit much. Same with the 3500mA extended batteries. I would rather just have that spare battery in my bag and use it when I need to. Why have that extra battery bulk on the phone full time?

Like you said, to each his own, I am all for options! i:)i

While I see your reasoning. I still find this solution to be superior to carrying spare batteries.

1. Phone has to be turned off to swap batteries.

2. Batteries have to be stored somewhere while waiting to be used. (I don't want to carry an extra battery in my pockets with everything else carry at work.)

3. Batteries would have to be charged either in the phone or on a separate external charger. Charging 2 dead batteries at the end of the day is time consuming and inefficient. An external charger is an additional expense and also Reason #1.

This device, and others like it add hot swappable power to my phone, and can plug my charger into the case, while it holds my phone and charge both devices at once.

For me it just seems more efficient and may even offer marginal protection to the phone...maybe.
