Hi all. Hopefully someone can help me answer or suggest something for my issue. I have a few games installed on my Evo and in my music player it lists all the music files that the games I have installed in addition my regular music. I dont like ot create playlists but prefer to click the first song I want to hear and then it plays all the sings I have in my device. The problem is when it goes over those music clips, it plays them too and that is very annoying. Is there a way to eliminate the app from searching for non mp3 type files? I would like to be able to tell which folder my music is in and not look elsewhere. This will eliminate my problem. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

Are you using the stock player? I am assuming so.

Mixzing does allow you to pick what files it will draw music from... I had the same issue with you with regards to game files being mixed in with "true" music files.

I had this problem when I downloaded a gameloft game. I fixed it by going into the game folder via my favorite file explorer and added a file named .nomedia. I think I just opened up notepad and saved a blank file as .nomedia and put it in the game folder I was having problems. It works with pictures as well.

Thanks for the info, I will try that.. The only issue now is what if I dont no where the music files are coming from.. I might just drop a text file called .nomedia into every game folder I see. Thanks again.
