HTC EVO 4G Shift with Consumer Cellular

Will the HTC EVO 4G Shift work with Consumer Cellular? They sell SIM cards with plans but I don't want to buy it and find out it doesn't work with the phone. Also, does it have to be an unlocked phone. Thanks for any answers!

The EVO Shift is a CDMA phone so it doesn't use sim cards. Consumer Cellular requires an AT&T (GSM) phone or an unlocked GSM phone. It won't work w/Consumer Cellular.
