Htc evo 4g wont freezes on startup

I recently rooted my EVO and tried to run a zip file, when i reset my EVO the white startup screen popped up. After 2 minutes of waiting for this freaking phone to start i took out the batteries and when to bootloader. I went to recovery and ERASED EVERYTHING I MEAN EVERYTHING hoping for my EVO to work, but no luck. Everything works fine but my phone wont startup, my computer recognizes my phone and everything even my empty SD card, but everything is erased so if someone can tell me what to do, or where do i go from now?

Ok just need a little more info. One, how did you root? Did you do it the right way and used the sticky in the Hacks section (downgraded to 2.1 then rooted) or did you use unrEVOked? Also, can you get into recovery?

I used unrevoked and yes my recovery works it launches clockworkmod with my sd card inserted even though i erased everything..., but without the sd card when i launch recovery it goes to a red triangle page and it just stays there.
