HTC First Microphone issues

Hi,
I have a HTC First and it is great. I have one issue though:
The small holes at the bottom get filled with dirt quite easily. When this happens people can't hear me unless I turn on the "loudspeaker". I can then clean out the dirt with a needle and it works fine again.
Is it possible to turn on the secondary microphone (the one used for loudspeaker mode) for normal calls?

I'm curious about this as well. Love the phone with the exception of this problem.

Hi, did someone find a solution to this? I don't seem to be able to clean the holes entirely.
