Thanks suzi, you are fanning the fire showing that the feature that sets the Flyer apart is the scribe technology and that without access to the stylus we will all feel disappointment in our choice.

While the manual does say it includes the stylus; it also mentions that it's capable of being a mobile hotspot and network connection (as in cell tower). This leads me to believe there are two manuals; one for the wifi, which will not include the stylus and one for the on-cell-contract flyer, which will include the stylus.

The protective case will hold the pen since there is not a slot for it on the device I was watching a youtube video and the guys was using the wifi version of the flyer. If I can find the video I will place a link for it.

This makes no sense (pardon the pun) at all.

All this "no pen" conjecture is based on Best Buy's obvious omission/mistake. This isnt the first time Best Buy has done this, nor will it be the last.

BestBuy reps are explicitly saying the stylus is sold separately. BBY mobile buying giude also has that note. Doesn't seem like an omission/mistake to me.

So go to the Accessories post in this forum and follow the instructions to post to the the Best Buy forum and express your feelings with a post and a personal message about the exclusion of the digital pin from the Flyer package.

Yeah, actually, later in the manual, it shows you how to intall the SIM. So go figure. But it was nice while it lasted, no?

I emailed a copy to Phil to post if he wants. Been looking for weeks with no success. Found it by adding the word "Taiwan" to HTC Flyer User Manual.
