HTC Hero Address Book Transfer to MyGig

Hoping for some help on figuring out why my Hero (Sprint) will not transfer the full address book to the MyGig head unit in my 08 Dodge Nitro. It seems after the unit is paired it only brings over the last 4 contacts in the address book. These contacts do work fine but I cannot get any others to appear in the book so I can use them with the in-dash voice commands.
Any thoughts or experience with this?

Also the bluetooth functional works great, just an address book problem.

Can anyone tell me the location of the contacts, are they on the phone or the media card?

you can export your contacts to your sd card.
