htc inspire wii remote help!

hello,
i have an htc inspire rooted with android revolution hd. i have heard that if you root your inspire then you can use the wii remote app to play emulators and stuff. well i tried to setup my wii remote and it still says it wont work. If anyone knows a fix for this or something for a rooted htc can you help me out?

I recently rooted my thc inspire xP and flashed CyanogenMod 7 and it works fine so far. Snes9x has an option to scan for Wiimotes automatically which was nice. Make sure you've gone into your settings and turned bluetooth on before attempting to connect them. Otherwise, it could be that the ROM you flashed doesn't have a compatible bluetooth stack.
