HTC Launcher Question

Hi Android users....

Im an ios guy who is jumping ship. My question is about launchers. I know squat about them other then im dying to try them (my HTC one is on its way) and see what customization is really all about. But i have three questions
1. If i install a launcher....if there are widgets on the original launcher i like can i still access them (aka HTC weather/time widget)
2. Will being on a launcher prevent me from getting system upgrades (like if AT&T gives us 4.2.2...please)
3. Where do i find themes for the laughers...like nova or go laugher ex?
4. What do you think is the Best launcher for the HTC one....or in general

Hpilot is correct on points 1-3. I prefer Action Launcher to anything else. It is extremely efficient.
