HTC Letters on Battery Cover

This came up in the Incredible forum, so I'm sure it will eventually come up here as well. The silver HTC letters on the back are very prone to coming off. When the HTC started to peel off on mine, I just peeled them all off. So don't be alarmed if this happens to you. It doesn't look that bad:

Doesn't look too bad but still they better not be coming off my Evo. I would think they have enough glue or whatever underneath them ..

When I first read the thread about this in the Incredible forum, I thought there was no way mine would come off, but sure enough it happened. I'm not sure if it made any difference or not, but I had the Sena Ultra Slim Pouch, so I was sliding it in and out quite often. The phone.

I was thinking about getting the same pouch for my Evo but might pass now because of this. Always liked Sena products.

hehe... I love the Slim Pouch. I don't know that I could pass it up over this. Hopefully they used better glue on the EVO cover, but it sure doesn't look any different.

I never had a problem with my Pre lettering in the pouch and besides due to the Evo's lens protruding and thinness of the Evo it should keep the lettering from touching anything. I have a Reiko pouch from Amazon and my Evo don't touch anything due to the thinness.

Kinda sucks, mine did the same thing. The T popped off, now I have an HC Evo.

I ended up taking the rest of the letters and glue off (which was way too easy). It actually doesn't look too bad.
