HTC logo icon

Hi, I've just recently got my One and while setting it up etc I came across an app (some sort of a HTC setup) that when I opened it, placed a small green HTC logo icon in the top left side. I'd left it open because I really liked how the logo looked on the screen but while closing tasks, I swiped it closed by accident and lost the HTC icon. Does anyone know what app that was or how I can get the icon back? Thanks in advance!

I imagine your talking about the app "setup" although i have not seen the icon so iam not sure! Try setup anyway

I don't think it was Setup. I've tried all the apps I have installed and the icon doesn't appear anywhere. I had the app open but not completed, that's why the HTC logo was still on the top dock.

No idea so mate, sorry!! I never seen the icon and i never actually went through the "setup" app so thought it might be that, Iam sure someone else will be able to answer your question though ;-)

I have seen that and it is in fact the Setup app. It popped up a few times after i skipped through the setup process and it would say "set up your htc one" when you pull it down. I assume there is no way to get it back

It doesnt happen when you open up the settings app. Think of it this way.When You get a text message when you have the little text message notification as a reminder, but when you swipe it away it goes away or when you open the app. That little HTC logo is a reminder to use the set up app and get all your accounts set up, but once you swipe it away or open the app you will no longer have that icon

Oh, I see. Damn, I really liked the logo there. I wonder if a factory reset would help. It's probably not worth the hassle though.
