Htc m8 not downloading apps from Play Store

Having an issue with my HTC One M8. With any app, having plenty of memory available, after I touch the "install" button, the blue line appears and just keeps going on and on, but does not start actually downloading. Any help?

Hi,
It might be a Play Store error, try uninstalling any recent updates and see if that helps. Usually it does fix issues like that.

Go into settings > apps find play store under the ALL section. Clear the cache. That sometimes fixes it.

Something else to check is whether it's doing it over just Wifi or just mobile network, that type of thing. It can sometimes pull stuff like that because of a network glitch.

Same issue. Stopping then restarting the download fixes it. Annoying.

or what software are you using? Have you ever update to 4.4.3?

I have three Google accounts on my device, and sometimes I get that problem as well. What I do is I switch to another account and try re-downloading and it works.

I have the problem when I am trying to download more than one app at a time (or if I do an "Update All" for my apps). It stalls unless I connect to WiFi, or update/install the apps 1 at a time.

I've been frequently getting error messages when I click install. I have to try a second time and then it works. Works every time on the second go so I've no idea why the first time is so unreliable.

I have had this problem. If you uninstall the app and then install it from scratch it works. Why the m8 has initial problems updating I'm not sure but I hope they fox the issue, it happens to me alot
