HTC M8 Problems after replacing Micro USB port - Twice

Both my wife and my HTC M8 had micro USB charge port replaced by PhoneMedic. The microphone was not working (the speaker phone works) after the replacement. The middle section of my phone screen is not working after the replacement today. The store technician said HTC's phone always has the problem - fix one and another one comes up. Do any of you have the same issue?
