Hi everyone I purchased a HTC M9 which is locked I was confident that I could sort it
but its proving more difficult than I expected. I have been to the site HTCDEV and followed their video and instructions but to no avail. I am using a win 64 bit running wins10, it recognizes my htc but I cannot get past the "fastboot oem get_identifier_token is it my operating system? or have I purchased a brick!! ?
the phone looks like this,
"software status modified"
"locked "
"s-on"
"security warning"
and then the usual items /up/down etc.
But at the bottom it reads in Red
"this build is for development purposes only do not distribute outside of HTC
without HTCs written permission, failure to comply may lead to legal action"

It does not matter what I do I cannot get past that screen
