Link for the M9 there two * I try to find out which one is the developer ed?I was thinking of get the M9 but my other question is how can I go back to the old android and I do use a MacBook pro?I hope someone can help me out

If I understand your question, the developer version is usually listed as GPE, or Google Play Edition.
Not sure about Mac book, but there are usually instructions for both Windows and Mac, if you want to Flash another ROM.
