HTC M9 - Software Status Modified - LOCKED - S-ON - Security Warning

Hi There,

This is my very first time on a forum.

I have a major issue with my HTC M9 phone.

The phone is ONLY displaying the following:

A white background screen

***software status modified***

***LOCKED***
***S-ON***
***Security Warning***

<VOL UP> to previous item
VOL DOWN> to next item

<POWER> to select item

REBOOT
REBOOT TO BOOTLOADER
BOOT TO DOWNLOAD MODE
BOOT TO RECOVERY MODE
POWER DOWN

I can move to another page (screen) but it doesn't change anything at all. It just takes me back to the previous page (the above). I've watched nearly all of the HTC YouTube videos but had no luck at all.

I've downloaded firmware (I believe) to my Laptop, but when I connect the USB lead from the phone to the Laptop, my Laptop does not recognize the HTC M9. The only thing what happens is the connection sound. Do I need to install a HTC M9 Drivers or Firmware?

Where do I find genuine Driver(s) and links what work (not a virus)?

I have photographs of the HTC M9 screen(s) (if that's any help)? I can send photographs by email

Try getting the latest ruu for your model from HTC website or search for it on XDA and flash it through stock recovery by placing it in a SD card. Select boot to recovery mode from the menu and select update from SD card and choose the ruu to flash. Hope it helped.
