HTC mini or S4 mini?

Ok this is my third HTC One device I am having and I think I am going for a change here since I keep crushing my phones so which of the two shall I go for and why? What will I lose then if I made the switch to one of the mini's? Will some apps on the mini won't be available because of the smaller screen? And what about Instagram, will the app itself have a smaller look than the normal HTC One? Please help here as I am really undecided to go for.

The screen sizes will be rendered anyway. I don't think you will notice much of a change.
