HTC one a9s wont boot into recovery.

[AC Question]

Tried to root the HTC one a9s but after the first part of flashing the recovery.img, it only boots into a black screen and vibrates every 20sec.
Tried pressing button combinations and the fastboot/download mode menu does not come one.

i see a red LED at the top, there is nothing in the screen.
