HTC One Camera defective?

Hello all,

I got my HTC One about 2 weeks ago and wanted to know if my issue was similar to others experiences.

Everytime I attempt to take photos at night my pictures come out extremely grainy or out of focus with night mode or normal mode. It definitely captures way more light but the sky is horribly grainy, for example. I also sometimes get a blue or orange tint on the lower part of my photos or a grainy blue all over the screen in darker areas. The camera works great in normal lighting.

Also, whenever I turn on the camera app my phone(the camera I'm assuming) makes a clicking noise like its hitting something. This happens every single time I turn it on.

Have others had this experience or is this not normal for the HTC One camera?

This is not my experience. My AT&T HTC One has none of these symptoms. See if the carrier will swap out phones for you, if not I'd try a warranty claim.

Same here as Scott only grainy if zoomed in too closely aotherwise all is well
