HTC One - Camera focus problem on video

Hi,
I have recently replaced my iphone 5 with HTC one.
I must be doing something wrong cause the video is very disappointing.
The focus really jumps, almost every time I pan, but sometimes on regular video (without me moving, maybe due to mild movement of the object).

I have to say that the video focusing of the Iphone 5 was amazingly steady.
Am I doing something wrong?

HTC sense 5.0

Must be unique to "some" devices, because my video quality compared to my iphone 5 is about the same or better. Dunno!
