HTC One Desk Top Mode

I have just got my HTC One and I have been unable to find the dock mode on the phone. I have a desktop dock I purchased from Amazon. When I put the phone in the dock nothing changes. Does anyone know how to activate the dock mode and where the dock settings are.

Same thing here. Is there a dock mode even? If not, are they any decent apps out there to fill the void?

in 4.2.2 verizon go to settings>displays gestures & buttons>daydream from there you have two choices. clock plus from the market and beautiful widgets clock. both will stay on all night if thats what your wanting-.

Do you need to have screen lock enabled for add-on daydream? Having issues getting it to work. I also have a passcode to unlock due to exchange security policies. I don't also want a screen lock on top of it but would like to use it at night. I installed one of the add on programs not standard daydream.
