HTC one is completely dead & wont turn on and need to retrieve precious data?

Hello

I’m hoping someone might be able to advise me. I am desperate as I have precious photos and text messages on my phone which I can’t get off.

I have had my HTC one M7 for a year and on news year day I used it fine in the morning but when I went to use it in the afternoon it wouldn't turn on!

I have tried pretty much everything to get it to turn on at least but nothing works.
• different button combination hold's for different lengths of time.
• plugging it in the computer (doesn’t see a drive).
• shinning a bring light into the sensor with button holds.
• leaving it on charge for 4 days!

I don’t know what to do.

HTC have said they will fix the phone no problems but they will wipe the phone before they do this or just replace the phone completely.

I know I should have done regular backups but I didn’t.

Do you know any UK companies that can retrieve the date?

Welcome to Android Central! The first thing I'd try to do is get the battery replaced, rather than replace the whole motherboard. There should be plenty of cellphone repair shops that could do it for you.
