HTC One Lag problems

Hello androidcentral community.Three days ago i bought brand new HTC One.I have heard that this is the best smartphone on the market and that it doesn't have any lag problems (except some ****ty apps ofcourse). So i installed some apps (mostly games to try how was the performance going). I downloaded games like Temple run 2 , Subway Surfers and Jetpack Joyride. They aren't high end graphics games so i thought that i shouldn't have any lag problems at all. But sadly there were some. I read all over the net that this smartphone is flawless and doesn't have lag on games. So my question is what to do in order to stop this unusual lag problems or something else ?

It's a great phone and I had very little lag issue with it. The only time I ever had any lag was if an app was installing and I was trying to do something else and that only happened twice. I would do a hard reset on it and see if that fixes the problem. Overall the ONE is the fastest device I have ever used and if you are having regular lag you should exchange it out.

I had lag when I was playing Temple Run 2 on my One X, but I had no lag whatsoever on the One. Sounds like there might be something running in the background for you.
