HTC One (M7) AT&T-Message when opening note "Sorry, this note is broken....."

When trying to open a text note on the HTC One, the message I'm getting for every note I have is, "Sorry, this note is broken. Your are not able to open this note." Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a known fix?

HTC chat has been brutal and only made matters worse.

Tonight I started experiencing the same thing.

Is there any fix? Did I somehow accidentally delete the audio and text associated with all of these files?

I certainly feel deep regret for not having these synced to Evernote; but what is going on here?

I am also experiencing the same issue with broken notes on my HTC one, does anyone know how to fix it?

I'm having the same problem with all of my notes. It happened when I deleted some files that my settings told me were junk. I'm guessing I managed to delete the folder where the information my phone needs to access the notes was kept. As such, sounds like this is more my fault than the phone's. Regardless, I'm hoping someone knowledgeable will respond to this thread and I can get this fixed.
