Recently, my HTC One has refused to call properly. It usually works, but once the problem starts, I have to remove my SIM card and put it back in, restart my phone and all that other fun stuff. When it occurs, I can call out and the speakers won't make the ringing noise, nor when the person actually picks up, is there any sound. Likewise, when the person picks up they can't hear me going, "Hello? Hellllllooooooo? HELLoOoOOoO?" It's really annoying, and I'd like to avoid having to factory reset. I can receive mobile data and text just fine. It's just the calling. Help please.

Thanks,
Res

I've been having this exact problem for about 3 months now. Did a factory reset about a month ago and has been working great until today again. Very frustrating. Hopefully someone has a solution.

I am with Sprint. I have this problem whenever anyone from T-Mobile or Metro PCS calls me. As well as anyone using a VOIP phone. I just blame it on the crappy Sprint network. But I don't know anymore. I wish I had a fix for it. I do know that when my contract expires I am switching to Verizon.

D: That scares me, I use T-Mobile. But it seems like it's a phone problem not a provider problem.

I am having this exact some issue. No calls coming in or going out will the mic or speaker work. But, I can take voicemails with the best of them and do nothing because I can't call them back.

Any fixes? New SIM card?

Hi Dear,

Please try the below

Go to Settings >> Power >> remover the tick from Fast boot.
Then again go to Setting >> activate the Airplane Mode
Switch off the phone for 2 minutes
Then, switch on and disable the Airplane mode
