HTC ONE M7 how to remove swipe lock screen but keep pin password screen?

Currently, my HTC one m7 requires that i swipe the screen and then enter my screen lock password to access the phone.
I would rather that i didnt have to use the swipe before entering the password, but i cannot seem to disable this without disabling the screen lock completely.
I have tried several apps to help do this including No Lock and Anti Lock, but both just seem to completely disable the screen locking at all.
Can anyone help?

Edit , the phone is running a stock version of android 5.0.2 and HTC Sense 6.0

Just a suggestion. But, I'd be careful about removing that because it will expose the Emergency Call button on your lock screen to being dialed by accident.
