Ive noticed that when i hook my phone to my car radio via audio cord and have the phones volume is turned all the way up i get sound that is distorted. If i turn the phone volume down a bit n turn the radio up everything sounds normal. Is the phones audio that loud?

It's likely the gain staging. The M8 has a hot (strong) output and is likely overdriving the input stage of your car. That's why backing backing off the M8's gain just a little clears it up.

Re: audio output

Is there a equalizer or a way to do that ?

Just bump your phone volume down to the point that it sounds correct. That's the way to gain stage, to get the phone as loud as you can before it starts to saturate (bass hits a ceiling, drums sound stifled) and distort. Then, crank it as loud as you want with the car's vol knob.
