Htc one m8 detects no sim card

[AC Question]

Htc one m8 suddenly detects no sim card.
It was working well before but suddenly it stopped detecting sim card.
I thought it was a sim card issue. But it didnot worked on new sim card too.
I was very impressed with the htc one m8 phone. But I am very disappointed with this phone right now. I tried removing and adjusting the sim tray but no luck.
Does anybody have fix on this?

If you have replaced with a new sim card and you still are having an issue, it's sad to assume it's a hardware problem. This happens when a device is dropped or some kind of shock causes damage to internal hardware.

Sadly, it's time to start looking for replacement options I do believe.
