Does anyone have the Verizon version HTC ONE (m8) with their fm tuner working? Or know how to enable it?

It's my understanding that this isn't an option with Verizon.

Yeah, I asked about this in another thread. It turns out that there is no FM tuner on the M8.

Really?! I was told that reviews mentioned it wasn't there and that the HTC website spec sheet had no mention of it!

Yes, when I saw this thread I went to look and fired it up, works fine on my phone.

Colour me surprised!! Screenshots? It seems a little odd for it to be on some carriers and not on others. Though of course it could be just that FM receivers aren't really big shot features and they just fall by the wayside in specs lists these days.

It's the same as it's been - an app but you need the headphones, which serve as the antenna.

That's strange my att M8 has the fm tuner also, it's like they want you to use data.

If it has the fm tuner, then you wouldn't be using data, the headphones would be the antenna.

I know that, I'm saying that Verizon wants you to use data to listen to music so they took out the fm radio app.
