HTC One (M8): Improve the Grip without a Case?

Love the M8, but man is this thing ever slippery.

The gunmetal finish and the overall weight distribution of the phone make it pretty scary to one-hand.

I have never used cases, nor would I want to hide the beautiful industrial design that led me to buy the M8.

Anyone have any suggestions or tips that they use?

I might try a very thin strip of adhesive clear rubber along the sides of the phone to see if that helps alleviate that constant threat of free-fall.

Re: Improve the Grip without a Case?

Was thinking the same thing. I hate to use cases, as they add bulk, and I love the look of the phone as it is. But every single time I pull it out of my pocket, I have my second had right there jujst in case I slip. In fact, I've stopped pulling it out of my pocket while walking, I'm just too scared to drop it.

On my M7 I use the Extreme Guard full body protector. It's the type that has a slight rubbery feel. Available on ebay and Amazon for about $5. Gives me just enough "grip."

I had the same issue with the M7. Unfortunately the only thing I found to add more grip required to "hide the beautiful industrial design" :( : I use a Dbrand skin but they're not available yet for the M8. It feels nice though.

I just bought a Skinomi full body skin. It's a screen protector for the front and back of the device, clear of course. That should remedy the problem

Best Skins Ever just released their full body skin. They recommend the matte body finish and glossy screen cover. It's $12.
