I have had issues for the past few months where my HTC ONE m8 is not recognising when I have plugged in the headphone port. The headphones work fine elsewhere and I have had to upload an alternative app (soundabout) which works however I think this may be a rogue app.
Since this has been installed my volume turns itself up full volume by itself and power button does not let me turn off unless I hold down for 10 seconds to reset.
I have tried wiping the cache but still having issues.
The phone is old and I'm wondering if its repairable or if I should think about trading it in.
Anyone able to help??
