I've spent 7+ hours researching phones and have narrowed it down to these two.

I also liked the external memory both supported.

Anyways, onto comparing these phones. Here's some differences I see:

HTC One M9+

* Aluminum body (should be sturdier)
* Dual LED Flash
* 20 MP rear camera vs. 16 for Galaxy Note 4

Samsung Galaxy Note 4:

* Wireless charging available
* Larger capacity battery (3220 mAh vs. 2840)
* Replaceable battery
* Stylus

It's nice that the Galaxy Note 4 has wireless charging, but I don't know if I'll ever get it. Maybe. Getting a wireless back is $25-30, then another $30 for the wireless pad. If I find that I really want the accessories, I'll get it, but as of now, I can probably live without it.

As for the stylus, I read on the pros of using one. I don't care much about fingerprint smudges on the screen. I clean it when it needs to be cleaned, and its never bothered me.

And as for making navigation easier, I'll have to see. I've usually don't get frustrated with navigating touch screens, or wish for better precision. So the stylus is nice, but not a must-have for me.

* On gsm arena dot com (can't post links) it says you get 100GB cloud storage on Google Drive? Is this really exclusive to the HTC One M9+ phone?

On gsm arena dot com (can't post links), it says the Note 4 has 50 GB storage on Drop Box.

And those cloud storages (Google Drive or Drop Box), are they free, just by buying one of those phones? I don't have to pay a yearly subscription?

I guess what I'm wondering is that will the cloud storage only work from my mobile device, or can I also back up things from a computer to the cloud storage too?

Can I in essence get a phone for its cloud storage account access?

Is there anything else I should consider? And what do you think I should pick?

Thanks for your time

If I get the HTC One M9+, will it be covered by standard HTC warranty? One eBay seller said it wouldn't be.

And I see an eBay seller is selling it from the US. Does that mean I can get the HTC One M9+; and it will work on AT&T; and it will be covered by standard HTC Warranty?

Ok, I called HTC just now. A few things:

* They said the phone would work, but probably not have all of the features and services working properly. They are also doubtful as to whether it would work at 4G speeds in the US. They said it would probably use 3G in the US, because it was designed for Asia.

* They said the warranty starts at 15 months once the phone has been activated. And the activation date isn't when I have my network carrier activate it, but rather a different date internal to the phone.

And they say the phone has likely already been activated.

* They also have no date for when they might release it in the US.

So, because it sounds like the phone wouldn't work all the way in the US, I guess it makes my decision easier.

I'm strongly going toward the Galaxy Note 4.
