HTC One M9 - T-Mobile Update

Software update search (assuming you don't receive an update notification) + download (855 Mb) + install takes a really long time, so exercise patience.

Following are some screen captures of the update detail description for others to see:

I don't know how accurate this really is, but my cell signal strength shows mainly green now where it used to always be mainly yellow and red.

I was watching/downloading videos with headphone ... I heard something pop ... the download app froze ... then the whole M9 froze ... then it lost all power!

The battery was charged (75%) but nothing I did would make my M9 power back on. T-Mobile website SAFE MODE instructions did not help.

My M9 did not feel anymore overheated then normal but about 30 minutes later, it seems to be working ok.

Is this related to the 5.1 update? Who knows ... but this major failure makes me nervous !!!

I use two 3rd party chargers:

TENERGY USB Adaptive Fast Charger w/ Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology
Model 59046 (looks like the original HTC AC charger ... ~$20 US)

TENERGY Rapid Boost USB port Charging Enhancer
(attach to laptop ~$20 US)
works well but interferes with USB cable HTC-to-laptop MTP file transfers
