HTC One mini 2 - wifi settings

Hi everyone
My HTC One mini 2 works fine for some public wifi networks. But Some are not ok, although It got connected to them. I guess I did forget them early and trying to connect again now. I can’t figure it out how to reset it all to back. If anyone can help me in this please drop me a line here.

Welcome to Android Central! Not all open networks that the phone sees are connected to the web. Some wi-fi signals might just be for local networks, like the ones you might see from a wireless printer. Which networks don't seem to work? Are you sure they're valid networks? Are they meant to be open, or are you trying to connect to someone else's private network without their knowledge?

Its a public library wi-fi. Although It showed as "connected" I couldn't login. I have used this same mobile early to this wi-fi & worked fine. After I did some wi-fi settings in my mobile ( tried to forgetting this wifi in the mobile ) and got this problem. Some other open wi-fi networks work with this mobile and connect to them automatically. Hope you can get some idea abut the problem.

Does the library wi-fi require you to log in on a welcome screen before you get full internet access?

yes. I can't see the welcome screen to log on to that wi-fi s, but it says as connected.

And did you say that you already tried forgetting the library wi-fi network, then connecting again? After you re-connect, wait a few seconds to see if a sign-in page pops up. If it doesn't, open a browser, and go to any site like NYTimes.com, and see if it automatically brings you to the wi-fi login page.
