HTC One Mini : typing delay

I just bought the HTC one mini a week ago and it started doing two weird things. 1. Suddenly there's a slight lag when texting or typing. 2. When pressing the backspace button too fast the whole screen will zoom in super clise. I have to close out to get it to go away. I downloaded Google keyboard which allows me to type as fast as I want. What could that have changed??

I would uninstall the Google keyboard or switch back to the stock KB and see if your problems go away.

there is a setting for "allow gestures" for zooming, etc. I had this on originally and it's terrible! It's easy to zoom in but hard to zoom out. Turn it off completely and you'll be good.
