HTC One - Soundcloud issue

When playing something on Soundcloud on the internet, I cannot stop the audio from playing and have to go into Settings and Force Stop the browser. Sometimes the audio stops after a long delay. Any solution? I know there is an app I can use instead but why is this happening?
