Hi, I'm quite new here. I like my One but as heavy music listener I have noticed stereo is turning off by itself after listening music for about 5mins. Anybody noticed that? I tried to switch on and off Beats- no effect. Different players- same....really hope it's not hardware issue.

Any help will be highly welcome!

Are you rooted and using custom rom? What do you mean exactly? Is a speaker turning off after a while and you only hear music from 1 speaker?

Sometimes speakers act weird because of software modifications /bugs. You could backup your important stuff and factory reset your phone to try a fresh OS. If the problem then still persists it's a faulty speaker.

Ow than it's most certainly just a software problem and it will probably be fixed with a factory reset. Have you tried other headphones?

Actually no...I haven't.
I tried few different players as I mentioned, but it dose the same- music stops for a second an after that the stereo is gone and the sound in headphones is mono. It took me long time to discover what's going on . When you go to the settings in Poweramp and try switch stereo/mono it dose nothing.

Weird I have been using PowerAmp / HTC music player from the beginning and never have experienced that bug. I once had a problem with audio playback, but a bit different. After a while my music played on a really low volume. When I did a factory reset it disappeared. So Just backup important stuff and factory reset. Good luck.
