HTC One Wifi Issues

Hi,

New to android having switched from years with iOS.

My Wi-Fi button has been stuck on "turning on" for hours now and 2 resets later its still not switching to Wi-Fi.

Does anyone have any ideas or clues as I'm ( as you can imagine) getting very frustrated.

So far my android experience isn't the best.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you have a defective wifi radio. I've had dozens of phones with wifi and never had one do that.

That's strange. If it is a hardware defect, you'll most likely have to return it. Good luck and please don't let this put you off Android.

Wait....

Try resetting your router first (cycle on/off or press reset button for 10 seconds) and let it reboot before you say your wifi radio is bad. Now, if that doesn't work, then I'd be more inclined to say your phone is bad.

Make sure it's not your router first. I would advise you update the firmware for your router and do a reset. Also try your wifi with another router somewhere before returning it.
