The AT&T version Specs say it has HSDPA 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100..... wouldn`t this work on T-mobile? can you guys confirm this if it`s true or not? I was getting a One S..... but if this is the case, I rather get an AT&T One X off contract and work it with T-mo... Thanks in advance.

Yeah but look at the Galaxy Note... they got it to work! and AWS would be T-mobile`s LTE, which is not even out yet but the AT&T One X` 3G is 1700.... man I don`t know what to do, I`d pay anything to have some sort of 3G on any 720P phone on T-Mobile.... :(

Where are you seeing these specs posted for the official AT@T version?.

HTC's own page does not list 1700.

SO, GSM arena and the rest of the pages I checked that said it had it are ALL wrong? I guess the source can not be wrong while the other say something else. :( Anybody has predictions when is the G4x coming to Tmo? I want to a 720P display.... I was playing with the One X and Nitro HD yesterday and I felt so insignificant with my litle phone... lol.

In my experience, GSMArena is often wrong, especially for new phones, and often they let these errors linger for months or years. Since a lot of other sites use it as a one stop shopping center for specs, things get messy.

That being said, I can't positively swear that there isn't a 1700 band lurking in the offing on the ATT version, because no one has gotten their hands on this device yet. It wouldn't cost AT&T any more to have that included (these are software radios anyway, and they can simply program what ever the want into them).

Update:

I've dug thru the test reports for the AT&T model: FCCID 'NM8PJ83100' and I see no mention of 1700 band in those reports.
