HTC one X taking forever to charge

I have had my HTC one X for almost a year now and have loved it. Though recently I have notice that my phone is taking forever to charge. Even if I plug it in over night I will wake up and it will be at 90% or right around 90. I recently updated to the Jelly Bean and I recently downloaded Handcent SMS pro as my main messaging system. I figured it might make my battery die quicker which would be expected but could it be causing this charging problem? I've even noticed when I plug my phone in and if I am texting someone I might actually lose 1% battery now and then. Is there anything I can do or do I just have a bad battery?

I've noticed my charge port doesn't grab the cable so clean anymore and if it is angled it charges more slowly or not at all. Have to be careful before charging overnight...

I have the same problem with my HTC One X as above user "EL5965". Recently my battery is draining out like anything and its taking forever to charge. Plus, it get heated.

Please help.
