HTC Rezound 4G Problems

Long story short, I had to replace the front clear screen on my rezound. I let a professional fix it, but in the process the LCD screen broke. He took care of it and fixed it. The problem is, the back cover is not flush to the phone, it looks like it is not quite on all the way (very close though) At the same time, I also got the ICS update.

To clarify, with the broken digitizer, the 4G worked perfect.

I am trying to figure out if my problem is the back cover, or something to do with ICS.

I have no problem ordering another cover for $15 from verizon if necessary, but I'm not sure that it would fix the problem.

Any ideas?

Also, when I turn off LTE, I never lose my 3G signal, the only problem is the 4G.

To update, I factory reset the phone, and that seemed to take care of the 4G problem.

But now the screen is messed up. Half the time I cannot even unlock the phone.
