htc sensation ICS update freezing help!!!!!

i downloaded the official ics update on my sensation and when i go into a program and click the home button it starts saying loading and takes forever and sometimes it just shos the htc logo and loading then it shows the home screen
anybody with this problem i need help

To really help, I would need some more info: are you rooted? Are you running a custom ROM already? Are you S-OFF or S-ON?

Why do I ask these things? Because you must have the stock recovery on your system, or the update will not work. To return to stock, you must flash the original RUU.
