Now that we have a HTC phone on VM, exactly how hard would it be to get a working Sense ROM/sense launcher on our OV? I don't feel like paying $199 for the Wildfire S as I just bought the OV a month ago.

From what I've heard, sense Widgets are integrated deep into the framework of the ui. You can find a bunch already out there on XDA and such but porting them by yourself is no easy task.

I'm actually more interested in the launcher than the widgets. I know about LP Sense UI and all of those other ones out there but they just don't give the feel that Sense gives.

it works when you have a Sense theme apk installed over CM7 as well as LP Sense UI. works very well actually. also the "flip 2" animation for changing between homescreens.

When i wanted Sense on my OV, I just installed LP Sense UI: LP Sense UI (1.5.0.3).apk - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download then put the cm7 theme on there: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ijwdk0t2xsti1mo and viola! Also, I haven't tried this but it seems pretty legit: [UPDATED 7-11-2011][Theme][Sense UI] 99% complete / CM7 / aospCMod - xda-developers

Thanks for linking to my post, man! I stopped developing stuff for it though. I have a Sense 3.0 theme, but i wont release it until the community starts responding again.
